Music Played on December 17, 2017

Host: Gregory

Despite snow and a serious accident on the 417, a keen group of 13 pianists convened on Gregory's house.  We played on his 100+ year old Heintzman upright piano.

The most popular genre for this meeting was Christmas music with four people playing five Christmas themed pieces.  There was also a link back to last month with Gordon playing a Waltz by Amy Beech.  And, two performances of the same piece by Handel: the original and an arrangement.

The surprise winning composer was A. Scriabin, with three people playing preludes written by him.
