🎵 Notes from August 19, 2023 meetup

We had a good turnout on a summer afternoon at Ottawa Pianos. Françoise mentioned her experiences at an adult piano camp in Maine. As a few people were interested, here is a link for more information about this music camp: www.summerkeys.com.  The works played today ranged from Baroque to modern, and relatively simple to very hard; some were played from memory.

Here's what was played:
  • Gregory:  Maple Leaf Rag, by Scott Joplin
  • Jeff:  Prelude in B minor Op. 32 #10, by S. Rachmaninoff
  • Karin: A Country Church and Goodbye Block Island, by Eugénie Rocherelle
