He is rebuilding his skills on his Yamaha U1 piano, learning pieces from both the classical and popular repertoire. His teachers in Ottawa have included Jenny Regehr, Sonya Sweeney, and Jonathan Bondoc.
In addition to piano, Christopher played clarinet in the Ottawa Community Concert Band for about five years. He also did a two-year stint as a member of the Ottawa Woodwind Project.
Previously, he directed a small concert band in New Brunswick for five years, occasionally sitting in on clarinet, tenor sax, or keyboard.
